Writing to Learn Throughout the Disciplines

First Tuesdays of the Month, Spring 2017 | 9:30am - 10:30am
Jill Parrott, Erin Presley, Dom Ashby

These sessions will focus on equipping faculty with best practices for writing across the disciplines. The first session will focus on the research-based benefits of integrating writing instruction into courses, the second will cover effective assignment design, and the third will discuss assessing student work efficiently. In addition to the interactive workshops, attendees will be provided resources in the form of books, handouts, and web spaces for curriculum development. Faculty will receive most benefit from attending all three sessions, but everyone is welcome to drop in according to their schedule.
