Jamie Shaffer joined the Noel Studio for Academic Creativity in Fall 2019, as the Coordinator for Teaching and Learning Initiatives.  Jamie earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration, both from Vanderbilt University.  She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt as well.    Jamie started her professional career in Residence Life, progressing to become the Assistant Director of Residence Life at Belmont University.  In 2015, she became the Director of Academic Affairs at O’More College of Design in Franklin, TN.  In this position, she implemented an online teaching resource center, as well as a peer mentor and tutoring program and a faculty development series.  She also taught Introduction to Sociology.

As the Coordinator for Teaching and Learning Initiatives, Jamie works with the Teaching and Learning Innovation Series, Professional Learning Communities,  DEEP Programming, and other T&L related projects.
