TLI Spring 2019 Registration - Partner with a Librarian

Educating our students in information literacy is a responsibility that is jointly shared by librarians and faculty members. In this interactive session, librarians will discuss offerings and opportunities for faculty to redesign instruction sessions, assignments, courses, and even curricula to connect information literacy with student success initiatives. Participants will explore and brainstorm possibilities for deep, meaningful, and creative collaboration with EKU Librarians that intentionally integrates information literacy and research skills within the discipline.

Objectives:

  • Participants will think about the role of information literacy in their courses.
  • Participants will learn about flexible ways to partner with their EKU librarian for meaningful, pedagogically intentional, best practices-based integration of information literacy into their courses.
  • Participants will explore and brainstorm authentic ways that they could partner intentionally with their librarians for student success in information literacy in their courses.
